Minnsota Wild @ Vancouver Canucks

My first Canucks game of the season, and my sister’s first ever!

The wild scored the first goal of the game about 5 minutes into the first on Ryan Miller off a rebound. It’s always hard to give up the first goal and come back.

After that, in a flurry of activity in front of the net, Henrik Sedin was able to jam the puck in. When the Minnesota coach challenged goaltender interference on the lay, the call was overturned. No Goal.

After leaving for peanuts from the concession stand, and , of course, using the washroom, we came back to see a 2 goal deficit in favor of the Wild. Then, Brandon Sutter scored with assists from Stetcher and Henrik at 9:23 in the second. Two minutes later, Hutton scored with assists from both Sedin twins, both of the goals were on the power-play. We were also informed of a scoring change on a Minnesota goal. the second assist had been given to someone else. Who cares?!?

In the third, we scored two more for a 4-2 game, as well as four unanswered goals, then the Wild came back with two more, to make it 4-4. Finally, Sven Bärtschi got our fifth of the night, to defeat a league leader in goal differential.
